We really enjoyed our trek to Poon Hill for five days with our guide Deepak and two porter (there were four in our group) The trek was well organized and there were no problems. It was was well organized. There were always very counsious of our well being and health and provided good food and generally good accommodation (hotel optons ar limited in some towns). The view on the trek are amazing and although strenuous some days were very enjoyable. If you are thinking of doing it, I would recommend doing with Gurkha.

We stayed at Maruni Sanctuary lodge near Chitwan and it also was very good. The guys at Maruni were really great and we almost felt embarrassed how well they treated us> the food is great> the best we had in nepal> we saw rhinos on our elephant trek wchick was a great experience also saw crocodiles and loads of other jungle animals> would strongly recommend going to Chitwan and staying at Maruni 3/2/2006

Myself and 4 friends booked with Gurkha to do ABC trek and although we didn’t quite mare (Some of us were ill) we had a great 8 days. The porters were very friendly + Deepak the guide was excellent + very helpful, when w come abck we dould definitely book here again and I’d recommend Gurkha to everyone.

We also did 3 days at Chitwan, which was fantastic, Elepahant Safari, Canoeing etc, guides were again excellent, Accomodation good, food very good. 05/10/07

To Kalapatthar & EBC. Really enjoyed ourselves, scenery, people + culture outstanding, very glad to have had a guide to help us overcome any minor difficulties + take care of general wll being. Some of the accommodations was basic but to be expected when areas are was so remote. Only cause for concern was there was no first aid provision which we had expected.
